How to Airdrop Tokens on Robinhood Chain: MultiSender and Merkle Claims

Airdrop card: MultiSender batches and Merkle claim campaigns on Robinhood Chain

How do you airdrop tokens on Robinhood Chain?

You pick one of two on-chain models. A MultiSender batch pushes tokens straight to a recipient list in bulk transactions you pay for; a Merkle claim campaign publishes a cryptographic commitment to the list on-chain, and recipients claim their allocation from a hosted page, paying their own gas. Saleium's airdrop product runs both on Robinhood Chain, with CSV import for the list and no platform fee on either model; the cost is network gas, paid in ETH, and Layer 2 gas costs are typically small.

Robinhood Chain became Saleium's sixth live mainnet on July 15, 2026, so both airdrop models run there on the same CertiK-audited contract lineage as the other five chains. If the network itself is new to you, what is Robinhood Chain covers the basics.

MultiSender vs Merkle claims: which model fits your list?

Push with a MultiSender batch when your list is small, verified and time-sensitive; publish a Merkle claim campaign when the list is large, partially stale, or when you want each recipient to take an action on your branded page. The economic split is who pays gas: the sender pays every transfer in a push, while campaign recipients pay their own claim gas.

MultiSender batch Merkle claim campaign
Who pays gas The sender, per transfer Recipients, per claim
Best list size Small to mid-size, verified Large or partially stale
Recipient action None, tokens just arrive Visits your claim page and claims
Unclaimed tokens None, everything is pushed at send time Stay in the campaign, never pushed
Gas paid in ETH, by the sender ETH, by each recipient
Engagement value None A branded touchpoint per recipient

Merkle claims are the pattern behind the industry's landmark airdrops, including Uniswap's 2020 distribution of 400 UNI to 251,534 addresses, because publishing one Merkle root costs the sender little regardless of list size. The deeper mechanics, proofs, roots and gas math, are in how to airdrop tokens, and the claim-side experience is covered in the token claim portal guide.

What does an airdrop cost on Robinhood Chain?

Two numbers, one of which is zero: Saleium charges no platform fee on airdrops, so the entire cost is network gas in ETH. On a Layer 2, gas for a MultiSender batch is typically small, and for a Merkle campaign the sender's cost barely grows with list size because recipients pay their own claim gas.

Plan limits set the scale rather than the price: the Free plan includes one airdrop of up to 100 recipients, which is enough to rehearse a real distribution end to end, and paid plans raise the campaign and recipient counts. The exact limits per plan are on the pricing page.

The wrapped-ETH detail that catches first-time senders

Airdrop contracts move ERC-20 tokens, and native ETH is not an ERC-20. If you want to distribute value denominated in ETH on Robinhood Chain, the standard pattern is wrapped ETH (WETH): wrap the amount 1:1, airdrop the WETH, and recipients unwrap whenever they choose. Everything else on the chain that is already an ERC-20, your project token, USDG, partner tokens, airdrops directly with no wrapping step.

This is worth knowing before you build the recipient list, because the token you distribute determines the contract address recipients will see in their wallets, and a WETH airdrop should be announced as exactly that to avoid a wave of "what is this token" replies.

How do recipients claim on a chain their wallet does not have?

Recipients add the network once, then claim like on any EVM chain; this is the question that makes or breaks airdrops on young networks. Dapps can trigger the standard add-network request, pre-filled with chain ID 4663 and the public RPC (listed on ChainList), and the manual path takes about two minutes, covered in how to add Robinhood Chain to MetaMask. Put that guide link in your airdrop announcement so first-time users are never stuck.

The one thing recipients do need is a small amount of ETH on Robinhood Chain for claim gas. Communicate that in the announcement, alongside the official claim URL and the token contract address, and you have removed the three most common sources of claim-day support load.

Where does the airdrop fit in a launch?

Airdrops work best as the community leg of a broader distribution, after allocations are locked and the sale has closed: sale buyers claim through the claim portal, the community receives its share through a Merkle campaign, and both flows run under your brand on the same infrastructure. The full sequence is the Robinhood Chain launch playbook, with the sale mechanics and staking retention each covered in their own guide. For a token that already lives on the chain, an airdrop plus a claim page is one of the fastest meaningful things you can ship this week.
