01Introduction and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ChainGPT AI LLC (the "Company", "we", "us"), the data controller identified in the Contact section below, collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use Saleium, including the saleium.io and app.saleium.io websites, the dashboard, the embeddable widgets, and the APIs (the "Service"). It applies to people who create a Saleium account or otherwise interact with us. Where you run a Product, you are an independent controller for the personal data of your own End Users, and your own privacy notice governs that relationship.
02Information we collect
- Account and wallet data: your wallet address, the email address you verify, and optional security factors such as a time-based one-time password or passkey credential.
- Profile and workspace data: the organization, team members, roles, and settings you create.
- Billing data: subscription and payment information, which is processed by our payments processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Identity verification data: for managed engagements or where verification is required, identity data that you or your End Users submit to a third-party verification provider.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser and device information, and how you interact with the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described below.
03How we use information
- to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- to authenticate you and protect your account;
- to process subscriptions and platform billing;
- to communicate with you about the Service, including verification and security notices;
- to monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations;
- to analyze usage so we can improve features and performance.
04Legal bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply to your use of the Service, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with our legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on.
07On-chain data is public
When you or your End Users transact through a Product, wallet addresses, amounts, and transaction details are recorded on public blockchains. That on-chain data is public, permanent, and outside our control. It cannot be changed or deleted by us, and it may be linked to other information by third parties. Consider this before transacting.
08International transfers
We and our service providers may process personal data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required by applicable law.
09Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Note that on-chain data cannot be deleted.
10Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and support for two-factor authentication and passkeys. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can exercise many of these rights directly from your account settings, which include data export and account deletion, or by contacting us at help@chaingpt.org.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Some data, such as on-chain records, cannot be deleted because it is not under our control.
12Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice, for example by posting the updated Policy with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
